theBurn is this Friday, February 10, 2012 from 7pm to 3am (yes - 8 hours!) at the Boiler Room. We are excited about an 8+ hour Burn the second Friday of each month in 2012!What is theBurn?theBurn is a regional gathering of non-stop vertical worship and prayer where teams take shifts as “watchmen on the walls” to minister to God.Goals:
To establish a place where God’s presence can dwell through continuous vertical worship that changes the atmosphere in a region and manifests God’s spiritual authority (Psalm 22:3). To establish an environment to minister to God where prayer, intercession, creativity, prophecy, and the Holy Spirit’s life-changing power can be released.
The Burn 24-7 is a movement of the bride of Christ returning back to her first love. Jesus appointed the twelve to first of all “be with Him” before they were called to “Go out into all the world.” This core value set the pattern of David’s Tent, St. Francis of Assisi and his troubadours, and the Moravians, to name a few. This is also the DNA of the Burn.
