Worship bands and leaders from various churches and ministries will take one or two hour shifts and cover the entire 24 hours. Would you please consider uniting with us and the body of Christ to see this happen?The focus of these times is ministry to the Lord. This requires a paradigm shift. Most people think of "ministry" as something to others (which it is), but the Bible teaches us that the early church prioritized ministry to God through prayer and worship. This was what fueled and guided their mission, evangelism, work and service.As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” -Acts 13:2With that in mind, there may be 2 people in the room or 75 people in the room. Regardless, the goal is that we create a sustained atmosphere of worship where God's presence can come and dwell. This is where we believe we enter God's presence with praise (Psalm 100) and that God is enthroned in our praise (Psalm 22:3). At the same time, in that atmosphere of worship, we believe God will encounter people and they will have their lives changed. At the same time, we believe the atmosphere of worship will create an environment where our hearts become one with God. We will join with the intercession/prayers of Jesus and begin to cry out for revival and justice in the city of Greenville. The injustices that grieve Him will grieve us. The dreams that are burning in Him will burn in us. And we will simply respond in agreement and partnership - YES! This worship, prayer and intercession will impact our city. I believe that God desires more than one weekend, but that eventually our city will be covered in non-stop worship and prayer - literally 24/7! He is worthy of it, isn't He?So please consider joining with us as we pave the way for God's kingdom. Come and just worship!FYI - The doors will be locked at 11PM for security purposes. You can exit but can only enter if someone is meeting you at the door. It's downstairs and nobody would hear if you knocked.
