Do not despise small beginnings! Sometimes we take huge leaps of faith and wonder... "what in the world am I doing"! I encourage you to stand strong and keep plowing in whatever it is that you feel God is calling you to do! It may not always come in the packaging you expected but there is value in tenacity!
TJ's is taking some leaps of faith in this season through each of it's branches:
TJ's CAVE (Facebook) is available for booking bands and other special public or private events! If you are interested in showcasing your talents or supporting the local arts, we have a place for you. This venue is a scaled back version of a larger vision for the New Bern, NC area but it's a great launching pad to get started. We need your support in the initial phases to gain the necessary momentum...
Thorsby Band/Ministry (Facebook) is continuing to pioneer/plow in our local community, our region and the nations. Sara Thorsby and I are sensing an increased season of mobilization as we've been asked to engage in various geographic locations so we're pursuing the call as resources and availability allows. We're contending for increased resources on various levels and could use YOUR help. If you would like to partner with us regularly (prayerfully or financially), please let us know. Our heart is to reach the lost and strengthen the saints!
Burn New Bern (Facebook) is continuing to go deeper through extended hours of musical worship and prayer each month. This is a commUNITY effort that is adding fresh fire to our mandate to dig the wells of revival deeper. Seeing multiple churches/ministries joining together with ONE THING as the primary focus is a victory in itself. The testimonies of what God is doing in and through individuals who are engaging brings a refreshing hope to those in our sphere of influence!
Craven24Seven (Facebook) is slowly taking up ground in the pursuit of 24/7/365 prayer coverage. We're attempting to capture what intercession is already taking place while encouraging others to fill the gaps. In 2015 we documented hundreds of hours of prayer being covered in our community. This year we hope to surpass that but it takes YOU committing to sign up for regular worship or prayer slots! Can we count you in?
All of these branches/ministries are supported by TJ's as the business/ministry hub in which all resources are funneled through. It takes extensive resources (time, talents and treasures) to pursue with excellence.
