DO THE RIGHT THING
We’re often surrounded by people doing things wrong. Lack of service, professionalism, skills, integrity, purpose, supervision, inspiration, discipline, character…etc play a major role in the world we live in today. We find ourselves frustrated at people that are doing these things and if we examined close enough, we’ll find that we do some of these things ourselves in some form or fashion.
We can’t fix everyone around us but we can lead by example and be inspiring to those in our sphere of influence. Regardless of what you believe in (God, karma, tooth-fairy…etc), the law of reciprocity (you reap what you sow) is a pretty sure thing. I’m a follower of Jesus Christ and I do believe we are all accountable for the things we do here on this Earth. I believe that “every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” and that we will have to answer for how we lived our lives.
Jeremiah 17:10 “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.”
I ask you to get the words, “DO THE RIGHT THING” stuck in your head and “let your conscience be your guide”.
When everyone else is going astray… DO THE RIGHT THING.
When nobody else is looking… DO THE RIGHT THING.
When it doesn’t seem very significant… DO THE RIGHT THING.
When we’re frustrated at everyone around us… DO THE RIGHT THING.
When others seem to get away with doing the wrong things… DO THE RIGHT THING.
When there is potential for it to compromise your integrity or character… DO THE RIGHT THING.
