Smile! :-) There are blessings all around us and you are one of them!
Here are a few updates on our branches:
TJ's Cafe (Facebook): Great Guatemalan coffee, great teas and a bit of snackage. It's a simple selection for now as we build momentum and we will expand as finances allow. Support local!!!
TJ's CAVE (Facebook): We have a ping pong table! This isn't epic news but figured we would add that tidbit in there for good measure! We continue to be floored by the amount of talent in our local area. Between the artists showcasing their talents at the expos, open mics and other gigs... we're quite impressed. If you or someone you know is interested in booking a gig or special event with us, let us know. Having SPONSORS will greatly increase our capacity to book a diverse caliber of artists and compensate them so that we can continue to offer many gigs for FREE to the public. Would you or your business consider supporting us?
TJ's Store (Facebook): We've got random unique stuff that you won't find in stores. It's currently a limited inventory but if you buy lots of it, we will have more resources to replenish with additional creativity!!! We currently have various paintings, jewelry art (upcycled guitar string bracelets, earings...), coffee koozies, local musician CDs, T-shirts...etc.
Thorsby Band/Ministry (Facebook): We're all over the place. We host a weekly community group in our home, serve our community through various branches of TJ's and enage in various marketplace ministry adventures. We travel as the Lord leads to join forces with other ministries. We have a heart to reach the lost and strengthen the saints.
Burn New Bern (Facebook): We'll be traveling to a Regional Summit in Sept (Falcon, NC), participating in some tent meetings in areas surrounding New Bern for the fall and wherever else the Lord sends us in this season! We'll also be hosting a 77 hour worship, prayer and outreach gathering called Catapult - Weapons Of Warfare on Oct 28-31st. This is a local/regional event gathering a remnant of believers going hard after the presence of God. Add your email on the Burn website to get on our monthly newsletters list and check out the events on facebook for more details.
Craven24Seven (Facebook): We're encouraging local ministries that are already offering extended corporate prayer gatherings to sign up on C247 so we not only know that those times are being covered but also to advertise public sessions so others can join in. We are also looking for individuals to pray in their home (or other secret place). We have made a Prayer Room available at TJ's Cafe from 6am-9am Mon-Sat so our community in Eastern Craven County has a place to go if desired. We need YOU to participate with us to fulfill the vision of covering Eastern NC in 24-7 prayer! Would you be willing to sign up for a one hour time slot? Daily? Weekly? Monthly??? He is worthy of it all!
We need your support to sustain the branches of TJ's. If you feel led to sow prayerfully, financially, voluntarily or however else you can think of, please let us know. We welcome, encourage and appreciate your support!
Nobody puts art in the corner... unless it's like a corner shelf or something! :-)
